We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Computed Tomography (CT) Systems Engineer to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Design and Development: Create and optimise CT system designs, including hardware, software, and integration processes, to meet client requirements and industry standards.
System Prototyping: Develop prototypes of CT systems and components, performing rigorous testing and validation to ensure performance and accuracy.
Project Management: Lead projects from concept to completion, including requirements analysis, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and physicists, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of CT systems.
Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and support teams to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales and post-sales process.
Innovation: Stay up-to-date with advancements in CT technology, materials science, and imaging algorithms, applying this knowledge to improve current products or develop new solutions.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that designs comply with relevant regulations and standards, and create comprehensive documentation for both internal teams and external clients.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in CT systems during development, production, and client support phases.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or Physics.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in CT technology, imaging systems, or a related field; hands-on experience with system design and integration preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical or electrical design.
- Knowledge of imaging physics and algorithms, including reconstruction techniques.
- Familiarity with CT detectors, X-ray sources, and related electronics.
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++) for algorithm development and data analysis.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
